I'd like to officially announce my new blog DjRyB.com
I'm not shutting down Thirsty13.com but I will be making less frequent updates in order to focus on DjRyB.com. I will use T13 for more of the long form articles that don't make sense for the blog format.
DjRyB.com is a blog in it's purest form, with quick articles and lots of links and videos. It's all about the same topics as T13 (sports, sneakers, Hip Hop etc.) but I will be able to update things quicker which should help keep everyone happy, including myself.
Please come on over and check it out and let me know what you think. I think you will be happier with the layout and amount of content I put up on a regular basis...
This is it right here. Your 2008 NBA Champions!!! The Celtics close it out at home and will get Banner 17 tonight. I guarantee it...well at least I hope. I have tickets and want to witness history first hand!!!
I've been right every game except for one and the scores have been fairly accurate.
I played the game out on XBOX 360 to serve as my prediction for Game 6. B-Boy Document '99 by High & Mighty ft. Mos Def and Skillz serves as the backdrop.

I downloaded all the corresponding videos for each song and then matched them to the mix with a little bit of editing magic. The first song didn't have a real video, so I used clips from other random The Firm videos to make it work.

Rondo has been nasty all year and has been playing out of his mind over the past few weeks but I actually forget how many highlight plays he has had this season. I found this clip of Rondo's Top 10 plays and there are some solid moves, passes and dunks.
My favorites are the cross up on Nash and the dunk and the hard foul on the Pistons. I was at that Detroit game specifically, so it was even more nuts to see that live. The crowd would not stop cheering and going nuts for at least 5 minutes after the whistle. It was one of those "holy shit!" plays that catch you by surprise every so often. No one could believe what had just happened and then we saw the replay and almost lost it again.

Even though you won’t believe me, I’ve been talking about this epidemic for years, I just never got motivated to make a site dedicated to it. Now that T13 has been bumpin’ for awhile, I figured it was time to make this happen but at the local level. Boston sports fans might be some of the biggest offenders in the country.
Michael Jordan selected a very small group of NBA players to rock his Jordan Brand shoes and Retros each season. Ray Allen was one of the first players selected for this honor after Jordan retired (the second time). We are lucky enough to have Mr. Allen on the Boston Celtics this season, so I've decided to dedicate this page to all of the different kicks from the 07-08 season, along with a few from the past.

LARRY (THE ACTOR), was accepted into the 2008 Independent Film Festival of Boston!
The film was shown twice along with three other great films and received alot of praise from both the crowd and the local film critics. Hopefully this is the start to a lot of great things in the near future! Props to the Bootleg Production Boys and thanks for giving Thirsty13 a shout out in the credits.
